No. Tuteme deliberately has no public tutor directory. Tutor profiles are never listed for browsing; instead our directors compare your requirement against the educators in our private fellowship and recommend the best fit.

If you already know a tutor you would like to work with, you can mention them in your request and our team will check their availability.

Every connection runs through our placement desk. After reviewing your request, a director contacts you by your preferred channel (WhatsApp, phone or email) with a recommended educator and arranges a short introductory chemistry session.

Tutors never cold-contact families, and your contact details are only shared once you agree to proceed.

The form asks for your contact details, the student’s school and year group, the subject and curriculum, your preferred schedule and lesson format, and any learning goals or challenges. You can optionally attach a recent school report or mock exam.

You can save a draft at any point and come back to finish it later on the same device.

Yes. Choose Online in the Subject step of the request form. Online lessons take place live over video with an interactive whiteboard, so your student can learn with a specialist regardless of location or time zone.

Yes. Choose In-person in the request form and tell us your area. Our directors will only recommend educators who can reliably reach you, at your home or an agreed study location.

Many families do. Select the format you would like for most lessons, then mention the hybrid arrangement in the notes step of the request form, and our team will look for an educator who can offer both.

Educators do not build self-promotional marketplace listings. Instead, qualified academics apply directly through our confidential tutor registration form, covering personal details, subjects and qualifications, availability, and teaching approach.

No. Tutor profiles are held privately by our placement team and are never published in a searchable directory. Families only learn about you when a director recommends you for a specific request.

No. Placements depend on families’ requirements matching your subjects, levels, location and availability. Keeping your availability up to date gives our directors the best chance of matching you.

We currently match tutors across 22 subjects in 7 disciplines, 5 education stages from early years to postgraduate, and 7 curricula including British Curriculum, International Baccalaureate, American Curriculum. If your subject is not listed, choose “Other” and describe it.

Every introduction starts with a complimentary 15-minute chemistry session. If the student and educator are not the right fit, we will propose an alternative educator at no extra cost.
